ACQUISITION OF DIGITAL VIDEO SYSTEMS (DVS):
Corporate Satellite Communications (CSC) is proud to announce as of July 24th 2008 the acquisition of Digital Video Systems (DVS). DVS is a 32 year old company with expertise in building and installing large scale satellite antenna arrays for the maritime segment. DVS in addition, provides a land based systems integration business that builds smart classrooms and audio / video entertainment facilities for universities and city municipalities. “This is a key step in CSC’s plans, combining CSC’s satellite expertise with DVS makes US one of the strongest infrastructure and engineering companies addressing the global Broadband at Sea requirements. Further our partnership with INTELSAT provides a unique solution for the commercial shipping companies by helping them manage the crew retention challenges”.
CSC has the vision of targeting maritime communication applications by providing broadband at sea services through its own teleport infrastructure, INTELSAT and now has added maritime expertise, with DVS’s precision installations. The company feels there is a large opportunity to target the commercial shipping and private yacht segments. Through this acquisition, CSC is uniquely positioned by controlling all the critical infrastructure skills needed to address today’s needs in the maritime market place. DVS’s has an excellent reputation with the cruise line industry, and is one of the primary installation companies for large Seatel antennas. Over all the company’s range of skills includes installing satellite services, large scale antennas, audio and video broadcast entertainment centers. “We are very excited about our future”.
INTELSAT:
CSC signs a strategic distributions contract to sell INTELSATS new Global Maritime Service. INTELSAT launched this new service at the end of the 2007 provide a truly unique global always on service to the maritime industry. The service is the first and currently the only seamless global internet coverage for vessels that travel between two or more satellite regions. The shipping and cargo vessels are one of the key targets for this new service. CSC is one a few companies that will be a distribution partner, installation arm and support structure for this service. CSC is currently testing this service with some of the biggest shipping companies in the world.
iDirect :
CSC in conjunction with the INTELSAT Global Maritime service relationship signed a contract with iDirect product platform. The iDirect product provides bandwidth sharing platform that brings a whole new level of efficiency to satellite networks making them much more affordable. This iDirect platform is a part of the INTELSAT Global Maritime package making the affordability easy for the Vessel owners to upgrade to always on internet services. CSC also uses the platform for multi location land based networks solutions.

Recently picked CSC to collocate satellite
services at one of its premier locations.
Digicel:
Sept 2007, recently expanded its facilities at CSC’s Miami Teleport to support its exciting growth throughout the Caribbean.
Newark Airport:
Sept 2007, CSC to upgrade the Homeland Security network through out the Newark Airport.
CSC of Florida:
August 2007, CSC launches is its Occasional Video Services (OVS) product after the completion of its upgraded facilities in the Florida Teleport and Network Operations Center. CSC has one of the largest carrier grade Teleports in Southern Florida. CSC plans on being the leader in the Southern Florida market for occasional up link video services.
Home Land Security:
August 2007, CSC recently completed the installation and project management of microwave communications gear at a number of sites through out the New York Metropolitan area.
Crown Mobile Media:
August 2007, has chosen several of CSC’s managed and owned sites in the New York Metropolitan area as a part of its network providers mobile video services.
CSC of Florida:
July 2007 Helio Gonzalez joined CSC as the Manager of the Miami Teleport and Network Operations Center. Helio comes to CSC with more than 30 years of experience in Satellite Communications.
Newark Airport:
Sept 2007, CSC to upgrade Homeland security facilities at Newark Airport. NJTC: CSC becomes a member of the New Jersey Technology Council.
ESPN:
February 2007, CSC is chosen to provide Studio interface and Satellite Teleport services for ESPN Deportes in conjunction with the Copia America Games.
